The 8 fun slash commands, the per-server toggle system, and the channel whitelist/blacklist that controls where they can be used.
Mokito includes a set of fun slash commands that any member of your server can invoke in Discord. These range from a random cat picture to a die roll to a Chuck Norris fact. Every fun command is a Discord slash command — members type /command in any channel and Mokito responds with an embed or a message.
As the server owner or a manager, you control which fun commands are enabled and which channels they are allowed in. These settings are per-server — toggling a command off in your server does not affect any other server.
The fun commands settings live at Fun in the guild dashboard sidebar. Only the server owner and managers can change them.
Every fun command is enabled by default. When you add Mokito to a server, all 8 fun commands are immediately available to every member. You do not need to turn anything on — you only turn things off if you want to restrict a command.
This "opt-out" model means the Fun page shows every command as enabled the first time you open it. If you toggle a command off and later toggle it back on, the command returns to its default state and the toggle reads "Default" again.
The Fun page in the guild dashboard has two sections: the channel restrictions panel on the left and the command toggle cards on the right.
Each command has a card showing its name, description, icon, and a toggle switch. Click the toggle to turn a command on or off. The toggle takes effect immediately after you click Save at the bottom of the form.
When a command is disabled, any member who tries to use it in Discord sees an ephemeral message: "The /command command is currently disabled in this server. A guild admin can re-enable it from the web panel under Fun."
Each command card shows a small badge indicating whether the toggle is at its default state or has been customized:
If you toggle a command back to its default, the override is removed and the badge returns to "Default".
Some commands may appear on the Fun page with a "Placeholder" badge. These are commands that exist in the toggle system so you can pre-configure your server's preferences, but the underlying bot logic is not live yet. Placeholder commands are not registered with Discord — if a member tries to invoke one, Discord itself will not offer it in the command picker. The moment the command is implemented, it appears in Discord and starts responding.
The left side of the Fun page controls where fun commands can be used. The restriction is global — it applies to all fun commands at once, not to individual commands. You can use a whitelist or a blacklist, not both.
Set the mode to Whitelist and pick the channels where fun commands should be allowed. Only the selected channels can use fun commands; every other channel is blocked. Members who try to use a fun command in a non-whitelisted channel see an ephemeral "not allowed in this channel" message.
Set the mode to Blacklist and pick the channels where fun commands should be blocked. Fun commands work everywhere except the selected channels.
Set the mode back to No restriction to allow fun commands in every channel. This clears the whitelist/blacklist entirely.
