Settings Premium

Configure staff roles, the required role, log channel, LFM, and the deletion grace period.

Overview

The Settings page is the last page in the Temporary Voice sidebar category. It contains global configuration that applies to all temp channels in the server.

Staff roles

Staff roles can override any temporary voice channel setting — rename, lock, transfer ownership, force-delete, etc. — by targeting the channel's 7-character ID from the Active Channels page.

Staff roles are also automatically granted View + Connect + Manage Channels on every temp channel when it's created. They can see and join any channel, even if it's locked, private, or ghosted.

Use the searchable role picker to add roles. Each role becomes a removable chip with its Discord color. Staff roles are separate from ticket staff — they're a temp-voice-specific list.

Required role

The required role controls who can see temporary voice channels in the server:

Leave empty to let everyone see temp channels (no restriction).

Log channel

When a log channel is configured, Mokito posts an embed to it every time a temp voice action happens:

Each log embed includes the channel name, its 7-character ID, the user who performed the action, and relevant details. Use the fuzzy-search text input to pick a channel.

Looking for Members

LFM channel

The channel where "Looking for Members" notices are posted when a channel owner uses /voice-lfm. The notice is an embed with the channel name, a clickable Join link, the poster's mention, and the poster's custom message (if they provided one). Use the fuzzy-search text input to pick a channel.

LFM cooldown

Controls how long a user must wait between posting LFM messages. This prevents a single user from spamming the LFM channel. The cooldown is per-user (not per-channel), so a user who owns multiple temp channels still has to wait.

When a user tries to post during the cooldown, they see an ephemeral message: "⏳ You're on cooldown. You can post another Looking for Members message in X minutes."

Deletion grace period

When the last member leaves a temp channel, Mokito waits this many seconds before deleting it. This handles brief disconnects (network blips, accidental leaves) so the channel isn't deleted while someone is just reconnecting.

Default: 0 (instant). Max: 300 seconds (5 minutes).
