Pokémon — Overview Freemium

Seven Pokémon lookup commands, free for every server, with shiny sprites, alternate forms, and animated battle GIFs as Mokito Premium extras.

Overview

Mokito includes a family of seven Pokémon slash commands that let members look up Pokémon, moves, abilities, items, berries, natures, and types directly in Discord. Every command uses the /pokemon- prefix, so they group together in Discord's command picker when a member types /pokemon.

All seven commands are free — every server has access to the full lookup family, regardless of Premium status. The lookups themselves (stats, types, flavor text, sprites) work the same on free and Premium servers.

The Pokémon settings live at Pokémon in the guild dashboard sidebar. Only the server owner and managers can change them.

Premium Extras Premium

While the lookups are free, Mokito Premium unlocks three visual extras on the /pokemon-info command:

Shiny sprites

On Premium servers, the /pokemon-info command accepts a shiny boolean option. When set to true, the embed shows the Pokémon's shiny artwork instead of the normal sprite. On free servers, this option has no effect.

Alternate forms

On Premium servers, the /pokemon-info command accepts a form option. Members can type a form name (e.g. mega-x, alola, gigantamax) to look up an alternate form of a Pokémon. On free servers, this option has no effect and the default form is shown.

Animated battle GIFs

On Premium servers, the /pokemon-info embed includes the Pokémon's animated battle sprite (a GIF) instead of a static image. This brings the Pokémon to life in the embed.

Free servers get the full lookup. Stats, types, abilities, flavor text, and the normal static sprite are all available without Premium. Premium only adds the shiny variant, alternate forms, and the animated GIF.

The Pokémon Page

The Pokémon page in the guild dashboard mirrors the Fun page exactly: channel restrictions on the left, command toggle cards on the right, and a Premium banner at the top showing whether shiny/forms/animated GIFs are active.

Toggling a command

Each of the 7 Pokémon commands has a card with a toggle switch. All commands are enabled by default (opt-out model). Toggle a command off to disable it in your server. The toggle takes effect after you click Save at the bottom of the form.

When a command is disabled, members who try to use it see an ephemeral message: "The /pokemon-info command is currently disabled in this server. A guild admin can re-enable it from the web panel under Pokémon."

Channel Restrictions

The channel restriction panel works identically to the Fun Commands channel restriction: choose Whitelist (only selected channels), Blacklist (all channels except selected), or No restriction (all channels). The restriction applies to all 7 Pokémon commands at once — you cannot restrict individual commands.
