Voice Commands Premium

The full reference for every Temporary Voice slash command.

Overview

Temporary Voice ships with 19 slash commands. The channel owner uses the /voice-* commands to manage their channel. Owners and managers use /setup and /toggle to configure the server.

All commands are premium-gated and subject to the server's channel restriction (whitelist/blacklist) if configured.

Channel commands

These commands manage the channel itself. The caller must own an active temp channel.

/voice-locknoneLock your channel — denies Connect to everyone except staff, the owner, and whitelisted users.
/voice-unlocknoneUnlock your channel — allows Connect again.
/voice-regionnoneShows an ephemeral select menu with 17 predefined voice regions. Pick one to change the channel's region.
/voice-bitratebitrate (integer, required)Set the audio bitrate (8000–384000 bps).

Member commands

These commands manage members in the channel.

/voice-permituser (user, required)Allow a specific user to see and join your channel (even if it's locked or private).
/voice-rejectuser (user, required)Kick a user from your channel and deny them View + Connect. The user is DM'd that they've been kicked and banned from the channel.
/voice-inviteuser (user, required)Send a one-use Discord invite to the channel via DM to the specified user.
/voice-moveuser (user, required)Disconnect a member from your channel.

Visibility commands

/voice-ghostHide your channel from the required role and whitelisted members. Staff and the owner can still see and join.
/voice-unghostMake your channel visible again to the required role and whitelisted members.

Looking for Members

CommandOptionsWhat it does
/voice-lfmmessage (string, optional)Post a "Looking for Members" embed to the configured LFM channel. The embed includes the channel name, a clickable Join link, the poster's mention, and your custom message (if provided). Subject to a per-user cooldown.

Control panel

The /voice-control command shows an ephemeral message with five buttons:

Only the channel owner sees this message (it's ephemeral). Staff can override via the dashboard Active Channels page.

The /setup command

Owner/manager only. Creates a Join to Create hub channel from Discord.

The command must be run inside the voice channel you want to be the hub. The hub channel is created with the same permissions as described on the Join Channels page.

The /toggle command

Owner/manager only. Enables or disables a Temporary Voice feature for the server.

Channel restrictions
